Emma Hope Shane (b. 1998) is a painter based in Littleton, Colorado, working primarily in oils. Her figurative paintings, still lifes, and landscapes draw on both observation and imagination, with light serving as a connection between the visible world and an interior, spiritual life. Through her work, she invites a sustained attention to the people, places, and objects that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
